CAIRO – Minister of Social Solidarity Maya Morsi received the First Lady of Colombia Verónica Alcocer García in the ministry’s premises in the New Administrative Capital (NAC).
Morsi welcomed García, who is currently visiting Egypt to assert good ties between the two friendly countries.
The meeting discussed ways of boosting bilateral cooperation in a number of fields.
Morsi talked about the ministry’s work files in social protection and economic empowerment for the most vulnerable segments in society.
The First Lady of Colombia visited a cottage industry exhibition at the ministry’s headquarters.
