RIYADH – Egypt won 4 awards at the International Modern Pentathlon Federation Awards Ceremony held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on the sidelines of the 72nd International Federation Congress meeting held on November 16-17.
Ahmed El Gendy, the gold medalist at the Paris 2024 Olympics, won the Best Player in the World Award for 2024, while Moataz Wael won the Best Young Player Award.
Egypt won the Best Country Award in recognition of the great accomplishments achieved by the Egyptian Federation through the year 2024.
Also the World Junior Championship, which was held at the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport, won the award for the best championship being marketed.
