Egypt launches 1st deloitte innovation center to boost digital economy

CAIRO – The Egyptian Minister of Communications and Information Technology, Amr Talaat, has officially inaugurated the first innovation center of the Deloitte Innovation Hub, representing a significant investment of $30 million.

This new facility marks a pivotal moment for Egypt, showcasing the growing confidence of international firms in the nation as a prime destination for investments in information technology services and digital creativity.

During the opening ceremony, Minister Talaat emphasized the government’s commitment to fostering innovative capabilities within Egyptian society. He underscored the vital role that digital creativity plays as a catalyst for economic growth, aligning with Egypt’s broader objectives of enhancing its technological landscape and creating new opportunities in the digital sector.

The establishment of the Deloitte Innovation Center is expected to serve as a hub for collaboration, research, and development, further positioning Egypt as a leader in the global digital economy.
