Egypt’s Minister of Communication and Information Technology Amr Talaat and Culture Minister Ahmed Henno witnessed inking a co-operation protocol between the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology and General Authority for National Library & Archives (GANLA) on making some selections of the content of the authority, that was digitised on the Egypt digital cultural heritage platform, available.
According to the protocol, 11,300 digital editions will be available on the platform.
Talaat asserted that co-operation between both ministries is growing and there is accord on the importance of using modern technology in publishing the different kinds of cultures among citizens.
He said that the platform aims at enriching the Egyptian cultural content and sustaining Egypt’s cultural strength which contributes to boosting soft powers in Egypt.
