Nestled along the pristine Mediterranean coastline, New Alamein City stands out as an emblem of Egypt’s visionary urban planning, revolutionising the way coastal cities are envisioned.

As a flagship project aligned with Egypt’s 2030 vision, the city epitomises comprehensive sustainable development, reflecting the nation’s dedication to eco-conscious urban growth.

However, some people claim that the new city is designed only for the wealthy, which raises questions about the inclusiveness of this project in achieving all Egyptians’ dreams.

This aspiring project is more than just an upscale residential area. It aims to be inclusive, providing opportunities for various income levels.

Social housing units complement medium and luxurious housing options, all within a framework that emphasises social equity.

New Alamein is a fully integrated city with residential; educational; industrial, and recreational projects.

This makes the city an attractive destination for tourists all year round, not just during the summer.

While handing over flats to owners in New Alamein’s housing projects, Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouly reiterated the fact that the new city is not solely for the wealthy, but offers housing options for all social segments.

That the city includes the social housing project, ‘Housing for All Egyptians’, is a testament to this.

This project offers affordable flats, ranging from 90 to 120 square metres.

A world-class promenade and a public beach were created and equipped to serve all citizens, demonstrating the State’s commitment to make New Alamein City accessible to all Egyptians.

The city is designed to be a model of modern and sustainable living, as it includes integrated infrastructure and facilities that offer all services aimed at improving the quality of life for all residents, and reflects a comprehensive vision of sustainable development.

It is also ripe with investment opportunities due to the city’s strategic location and burgeoning infrastructure.

New Alamein is not merely an urban project, but part of Egypt’s strategic plan to extend its urban frontier and enhance the quality of life for its citizens.

It is not only a dream for the wealthy, but also a real opportunity for all Egyptians to lead a better life in a modern and prosperous environment.
