CAIRO – The Central Agency for Public Mobilisation and Statistics (CAPMAS) has said that the volume of trade exchange between Egypt and Somalia reached $ 59 million in the first half of 2024 compared to $31 million in the same period of 2023 with an increase of 88%.
In a statement on Wednesday, the CAPMAS said that the volume of Egyptian exports to Somalia reached $57 million in the first half of 2024 in comparison to $31 million in the same period in 2023 with an increase of 83%.
The Egyptian imports from Somalia reached $2 million in the first half of 2024 in comparison to $300,000 in the same period last year, the statement said.
