Egyptian Exchange (EGX) indices showed mixed performance at the close of Tuesday’s trading, amid expected cabinet reshuffle.
The market capital registered LE1.897 trillion after transactions hit nearly LE112.5 billion, including about LE108.5 billion of treasury and bill bond transactions.
The EGX 30 benchmark index went up 0.23 per cent, closing at 28,033.32 points.
The broader EGX 70 EWI of the leading small and medium enterprises (SMEs) inched down 0.31 per cent, recording 6,227.74 points.
The all-embracing EGX 100 index also declined 0.16 per cent, registering 9,056.95 points.
