Egypt’s Minister of International Cooperation Rania el- Mashat discussed Thursday with deputy director general of the international cooperation department of the China International Development Cooperation Agency (CIDCA) efforts on cementing joint ties and strengthening current partnerships.
The two sides highlighted important strategic ties between Egypt and China, lauding growing bilateral ties over the past years in the investment and infrastructure domains.
They also probed ways to enforce the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between the Ministry of International Cooperation and the agency on debt swap.
The minister also shed light on the importance of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi’s visit to China in May, noting that such a step reflects strong ties between both countries with keenness in fostering these bonds in the various domains.
