Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah El Sisi congratulated Al-Ahly Sports Club on winning the CAF Champions League the 12th title.

On his page on Facebook, Sisi wrote: “I congratulate Al-Ahly Club on their title win. A distinguished performance and wonderful efforts deserve all appreciation.”

African League Champions Al-Ahly won CAF’s second title in a row, after a 1-0 win over Esperance of Tunisia.

Al-Ahly’s winner was scored by defender and team captain Rami Rabia, in the fourth minute.

The two teams had a goalless match in Hammadi Agrebi, Rades Stadium, Tunis last Saturday.
