Egypt’s Defence Minister Mohamed Zaki said the Armed Forces are capable of confronting any challenges thanks to Egyptian people’s unity.
He made the remarks while witnessing one of the largest training activities of the Armed Forces which fell within the framework of the main phase of a tactical project being implemented by one of the units of the second field army using live ammunition for several days.
Armed Forces Chief-of-Staff Osama Askar attended the drills alongside top brass and parliament members.
Zaki conveyed greetings of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, voicing appreciation to the efforts exerted by the Armed Forces to carry out all missions assigned to them.
He lauded the outstanding combat skills of the Armed Forces.
Meanwhile, he highlighted the key role played by Egypt in supporting the Palestinian cause.
