Egypts President Abdel Fattah El Sisi inspected on Monday projects to upgrade services in Gharb Sohail village, Aswan governorate, within the framework of the “Decent Life” initiative.

This came during President Sisi’s visit to Aswan. During the tour, President Sisi inspect the tourist market and encourage the working youth to move forward in promoting tourism.

The President also praised the generosity and hospitality of the Nubian people and indicated that the state, with all its apparatuses, is keen to provide Aswan with full access to basic services.

 

The President also indicated that work is currently underway in 52 centers in 20 governorates as part of the “Decent Life” initiative.

The people of Gharb Sohail received the president with celebrations that included Nubian heritage songs, a performance by the children and a group of various Nubian shows.

The President visited the commercial market in the village where he met a group of owners of tourist and commercial shops and shops of handicrafts and heritage crafts.

The President was also keen to hold an open meeting with a group of residents of the village of Gharb Suhail to check on the conditions of the village.

At the end of the visit, the President invited the girl, Jana, who received him at Kiki Island marina with the child Sajid who sat next to him to attend the fourth edition of the World Youth Forum, which will be held next January in Sharm El-Sheikh.
