QENA, Egypt – Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah El Sisi on Saturday opended a new axis on the River Nile in the Upper Egypt governorate of Qena.
The axis is named after martyr Major Basem Fekry.
Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli and Transport Minister Kamel el Wazir attended the opening ceremony.
Sisi is paying an inspection tour of Qena Governorate to follow up a series of new national projects, within the activities of the Upper Egypt Week, as part of the state’s efforts to achieve an integrated development in Upper Egypt
