Croatia’s national football team, led by Luka Modric of Real Madrid, visited the Giza Pyramids.
The team is here for the Egypt Capital Cup at the Egypt Stadium in the Olympic Games City at the New Administrative Capital.
The tournament is being held under the auspices of the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities and the Ministry of Youth and Sports.
Sports United Company has organised the event.
General Director of the Pyramid Antiquities Area Ashraf Mohieldin welcomed the Croatian squad and took them on a tour of the area starting with the Pyramid of Cheops (Khufu) and ending with the Sphinx.
