CAIRO – The Suez Canal Economic Zone (SCZone) announced Monday the temporary closure of Adabiya and Ain Sokhna ports due to bad weather and lack of visibility.
The East Port Said and West Port Said harbors were also closed to navigation, with wind speed reaching 30 knots and waves going three meters high, a statement by the SCZone said.
It added that the Arish Port was also closed due to unstable weather conditions.
Handling operations on the platforms of the harbors have not stopped though, the SCZone noted.
