Egypt’s Housing Minister Asem Gazzar directed taking needed measures against lagging companies in establishing housing units within the framework of the presidential initiative “Housing for All Egyptians”.
He made the remarks during a meeting with the ministry’s officials and heads of relevant authorities in new cities.
Gazzar said thousands of housing units are being set up in the cities of Sixth of October, New October, 10th of Ramadan, New Malawi, New Menya, and New Cairo.
Gazzar underlined the importance of periodical follow-up of the progress realized so far and commitment to finalizing the units in line with the set date.
