Disabled child Malak Mohamed to join Cairo Opera House

Egypt's Culture Minister Enas Abdel Dayem (R) said that Malak Mohamed (C) will join the piano department of the talents development center of Cairo Opera House to achieve her dreams and hone her skills in playing music and acting.

CAIRO – Egypt’s Culture Minister Enas Abdel Dayem said that Malak Mohamed, a nine-year-old girl with disability and a swimmer at Al Shams Club, will join the piano department of the talents development center of Cairo Opera House to achieve her dreams and hone her skills in playing music and acting.

Abdel Dayem said in remarks on Wednesday that the ministry is adopting a strategy for integrating people with special needs into the society.

She added the ministry is offering all forms of support to persons with determination, given they are part and parcel of the society fabric and top priorities of the State.

Mohamed participated in “Differently-Abled” conference and met with President Abdel Fattah El Sisi and told him she has a dream to become the minister of culture.
