Egypt’s Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli paid a visit Saturday to Menoufia governorate in the northern part of the country in the Nile Delta, to the south of Gharbia Governorate and to the north of Cairo.
At the beginning of the visit, Madbouli inspected the site of one of the housing projects for the limited-income brackets.
The project is part of an initiative of “Housing for All Egyptians”, which was launched by President Abdel Fattah El Sisi.
Madbouli, meanwhile, said that the project provides a set of integrated services, which include nurseries, hospitals, schools, and places of worship.
Madbouli further said that the aim of President Sisi’s initiative is to provide appropriate housing for the different segments of the society.
Meanwhile, Housing Minister Assem el Gazar gave an overview of the executive status of the social housing units project, which is implemented by the New Urban Communities Authority in Sadat City, within five phases.
The total number of units which have been allocated hit 15,088 housing units, he added, noting that efforts are under way to allocate the rest of the units.
