Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah El Sisi held on Saturday a meeting with his Armenian counterpart Vahagn Khachaturyan on the sidelines of the UN climate change conference, COP28 in Dubai.
The two leaders lauded historic ties between Egypt and Armenia, said Presidential Spokesman Ahmed Fahmy.
They agreed on the need to promote efforts to strengthen bilateral relations in different domains, particularly the fields of tourism, culture, trade, economy and security.
Both leaders also mulled a number of regional issues of common interest in the Middle East and South Caucasus regions.
