Head of the Egyptian Commercial Service (ECS) Yehya Al Wathiqbellah met on Monday with Pakistani Ambassador in Cairo Sajid Bilal.
They discussed means to increase the volume of trade exchange between the two countries which amounted in 2022 to $400 million, including $300 million in Egyptian exports.
The agreed to arrange a visit to Egypt by Pakistani Minister of Commerce Dr. Gohar Ejaz in the period between January 9-11 at the head of a delegation of 120 Pakistani companies working in the fields of agriculture, industry, information technology, tourism and trade, said a statement issued by ECS.
The statement added that Pakistani companies are interested in investing in Egypt, importing Egyptian products exporting Pakistani products to Egypt.
