Egyptian Youth Parliament participated in a special emergency session held under the
patronage of president Abdel Fattah El Sisi and Minister of youth and sports Dr. Ashraf
Sobhi at the Engineering Authority House, in Cairo.
During the session they condemned in the “strongest terms” the Israeli bombardment of
Palestinian citizens in Gaza, Especially bombing of Al-Ahli Baptist in the Gaza Strip
which resulting in the tragic loss of hundreds of innocent victims, including wounded and
injured Palestinian citizens in Gaza.
They also stressed That such deliberate bombing represents a clear violation of
international law and international humanitarian and legitimate principles .
Egyptian youth parliament declared full support for President Abdel Fattah El Sisi’s
decisions in Cairo international peace summit regarding the Palestinian issue and his
clear rejection of targeting innocent Palestinian civilians and the heinous massacres
committed by the occupation forces against defenseless civilians.
Minister of Youth and Sports Dr. Ashraf Sobhi asserted the keenness of the Egyptian
political leadership to fully support the legitimate rights of the Palestinians topped by
establishing an independent Palestinian state ,with Al-Quds (East Jerusalem) as its
capital according to international legitimacy resolutions.
Sobhi expressed his happiness with the great awareness of Egyptian youth parliament
towards the political life and it’s issues especially Palestine’s issue that includes their
rejection for the forced displacement of the Palestinians and their transfer to Egyptian
lands in Sinai.
For his part, member of Parliament and Chairman of the Youth and Sports Committee in
the House of Representatives, dr.mahmoud hussien lauded the unique experience of
the Egyptian youth parliament and great achievement accomplished by them in the
latest period.
Mahmoud hussien also offered his condolences to the Palestinian people for all the
martyrs that resulted from the brutal Israeli aggression.
