Madbouli said that Egypt used during the past years to work on securing energy sources necessary for development, and already managed to get various sources of energy through different and giant projects including the establishment of new, renewable and nuclear energy stations.
He said that such projects enabled Egypt to introduce economic and social reforms related to curbing Covid-19 Pandemic. The prime minister appreciated Spain’s decision to grant Egypt about 1.850 million AstraZeneca doses.
He expressed Egypt’s keenness on boosting relations with Spain in all domains especially in co-operation projects similar to that with Talgo, Siemens Gamesa, Grifols and FCC Aqualia.
He also appreciated co-operation with the Spanish Agency for International Development in the economic and social development in Egypt with benefiting from Spain’s expertise in the farming and irrigation domains.
