CAIRO -Egyptian Defense and Military Production Minister Mohamed Zaki asserted Egypt is always seeking to possess strength potentials to safeguard its people and keep peace nationwide.
Zaki’s remarks came at the opening of the International Defense and Military Industries Exhibition, EDEX 2021.
Egypt’s Armed Forces have been and are still the “safe fortress” to protect the nation, according to him.
The reality around the world is that peace needs potentials and capabilities to protect and secure the nation, added Zaki.
Earlier today, President Abdel Fattah El Sisi inaugurated the exhibition, held with the participation of 400 companies from 42 countries.
The fair is held at the president’s auspices at Egypt International Conference Centre in New Cairo and runs for four days.
Minister of Defense and Military Production Mohamed Zaki stressed the Egyptian people and army are always strong and unified in facing any threats.
Egypt’s nation and forces are seeking to possess state-of-the-art technologies in armament systems, added Zaki.
The Egyptian army will remain the guard to this homeland and do its best to keep peace, security and stability nationwide, according to him.
He said he is looking forward the exhibition will be rendered a success and become a platform for exchange of expertise, ideas and viewpoints.
