CAIRO – The Russian Embassy in Egypt described the ceremony to inaugurate the Sphinx Avenue (Kebash Road) as a great event, pointing out to Russian Ambassador in Cairo Georgiy Borisenko’s participation in the ceremony that was also attended by President Abdel Fattah El Sisi.
In a Facebook post on its official page according to MENA, the Russian embassy praised the Egyptian political leadership’s interest in monuments in Luxor and across the country, which it said will attract more foreign tourists and contribute to strengthening Cairo-Moscow friendship.
