GLASGOW – UAE Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology and Special Envoy for Climate Change Sultan bin Ahmed Al Jaber congratulated Environment Minister Yasmine Fouad after selecting Egypt for hosting the 27th UN Climate Change Conference of the Parties (COP27).
This occurred at the Egyptian pavilion in the 26th UN Climate Change Conference of the Parties (COP26), held in Glasgow.
Fouad thanked Al Jaber for his greetings, and reiterated the importance of cooperation between Cairo and Abu Dhabi in environmental files.
She also stressed Egypt’s support to UAE for hosting COP28 in 2023.
