Spokesman for the Egyptian Local Development Ministry Khaled Qasem said that Egypt has made many achievements under the leadership of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi.
In statements to MENA, he added that many giant projects were launched in the past seven years.
Also, the Decent Life initiative that was launched in 2018 has contributed to improving the lives of millions of citizens, he pointed out.
The project on upgrading Upper Egypt also benefited many Upper Egyptian villages, he said, adding that the project’s cost is estimated to be 957 million dollars.
