LONDON – Liverpool winger Mohamed Salah expressed amazement at seeing his own life-size wax figure at the world famous Madame Tussauds in London, saying this is unbelievable work of art.

‘That looks exactly like me, it is like I am looking into the mirror. Does he have abs or no?’, Mo Salah said as quoted by the Daily Mail newspaper.

‘It’s a blessing to be recognised and immortalised in this way.

His wax figure wears the cream suit that Salah donned on the front cover of GQ Middle East magazine, while his hands are pointing upwards in recognition of his goal celebration.

The Egyptian forward joined an illustrious list of athletes who had their own wax figures, with the likes of Lionel Messi, David Beckham, Serena Williams, Cristiano Ronaldo, Mesut Ozil and others.

Having won the 2019 UEFA Champions League with Liverpool last year, in addition to the Premier League’s Golden Boot in each of the last two seasons and crowned Africa’s best player in both 2017 and 2018, Mohamed Salah has widely become a star attraction in London and around the world.
