Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah El Sisi directed on Tuesday Justice Minister Omar Marwan to exert more efforts to develop and automate the court system and litigation procedures, including the technical development of the courts nationwide.
During his meeting with Marwan, Sisi ordered using the latest technology in the courts to accelerate the litigation process a matter that would ultimately lead to faster resolving of the court case backlog and achieving the highest degrees of justice, Presidential Spokesman Bassam Rady said.
Marwan, for his part, reviewed the implementation of decisions issued by the Supreme Judicial Council during its latest meeting in June, regarding allowing women to work at the State Council and Public Prosecution, as well as appointing more women at the State Lawsuits Authority and the Administrative Prosecution Authority.
The minister reviewed preparations for celebrating the Egyptian Judiciary Day in early October for the first time
