Egyptian Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities Dr Assem el Gazar said the current phase of presidential initiative “Decent Life” calls for implementing different development work including utility and service projects in 20 governorates, according to a statement by the ministry.
Gazar’s remarks were made during a meeting, held on Thursday to follow up the implementation of various projects as part of the initiative aimed at upgrading the Egyptian countryside.
He added that the ministry is in charge of carrying out upgrade projects nationwide.
“Decent Life” is an important national project, which is being implemented by the State across the country, he said, adding it is necessary to well run projects of the initiative.
The initiative is directly followed up by the political leadership and the Cabinet in order to provide different services and help citizens enjoy decent life, especially residents of rural areas.
