National Press Authority (NPA) is delivering a training course for elected members of general assemblies of national press institutions.
The three-day course will take place from Sunday, 21 February.
The elected members praise the courses organised by the authority for developing skills and aptitudes of employees within the institutions.
Meanwhile, they expressed a desire for a training course on the role of the general assembly and its functions according to Law 179/2018.
They hope this course would also help them to analyse financial statements in order to exercise their authority to promote press institutions.
NPA chairman Abdel-Sadiq Al-Shorbagy said general assemblies would be important and influential in future, and that “there will be no room for complacency or leniency”.
The NPA has organized more than 45 training courses for journalists, administrators and workers.
English language courses have also started at several levels.
