Governor of South Sinai Khaled Fouda met with Serbian Minister of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications Tatjana Matić to discuss cooperation in investment and tourism.
This came as part of the governor’s meetings in Belgrade to promote investment and trade between the two countries.
Fouda discussed the possibility of operating regular flights between Belgrade and Sharm el-Sheikh at the earliest opportunity to boost tourism in both countries.
For her part, the Serbian minister said that her country was looking forward to higher levels of cooperation with Egypt in all domains, offering a 20 percent grant for any Egyptian investment project carried out in Serbia.
Matić said she would encourage the Serbian businessmen to establish more investment and tourist ventures in Egypt, which is considered the most tourist-friendly country in the Middle East and Africa.
