For the first time in Egypt, the GEM will host the highly acclaimed Tutankhamun – The Immersive Exhibition in partnership with Madrid Artes Digitales.
Scheduled to open its doors in November, coinciding with the month when King Tutankhamun’s tomb was discovered over a century ago, the exhibition will provide a novel and creative storytelling experience, making it a one-of-a-kind opportunity to rediscover King Tutankhamun’s story in an entirely new way.
In a truly immersive experience, using state-of-the-art digital projections, visitors will step into the life of the legendary King Tutankhamun, embarking on a remarkable audiovisual journey that spans over 3,400 years of history.
As they explore the recreated temples, treasures, and secrets of Ancient Egypt, they will be enveloped in a 360-degree visual spectacle, paired with an exceptional soundtrack that enhances the experience.
“The Tutankhamun Immersive Exhibition”, launched in Madrid, Spain in November 2022 by “Madrid Artes Digitales”, at their digital arts center ‘MAD’, received widespread acclaim, attracting over 300,000 visitors in just 8 months.
The exhibition has also earned numerous prestigious awards, solidifying its status as a must-see cultural experience.
This cutting-edge exhibition is part of the GEM’s temporary exhibition series managed and organised by Legacy Development and Management, a subsidiary of Hassan Allam Holding, and the company entrusted with operating the services in the museum complex.
