Cairp- The state attaches great importance to promoting the food industries sector and removing all hindrances crippling it, with a view to boosting its growth and production rate, said Cabinet’s Information and Decision Support Center (IDSC) Chairman Osama el Gohary on Tuesday.
He highlighted the significant contribution of the food industries sector to the agricultural value chain in a way that boots agricultural exports and the supply at the domestic market.
Gohary made the remarks during the 15th session of the IDSC intellectual forum, which is taking place at the premises of the Cabinet under the title ” Mechanisms of Boosting Value Added of Produce…Towards Better Future of Agricultural Manufacturing”.
The session is attended by a galaxy of investors in the fields of agriculture and food industries, alongside representatives of the ministries of agriculture and industry.
