The Ministry of Military Production is keen to localise modern manufacturing technologies in its affiliated companies by consolidating co-operation with local and international private sector companies.
This statement by Minister of Military Production Mohamed Salah Eddin came during his meeting yesterday with the executive director of the Japanese-German company DMG MORI Rajeev Anand in Cairo.
Both sides discussed the possibility of working together to raise the efficiency of machines in military production companies.
The minister said joint manufacture is the main objective of the Military Production is co-operation with international partners, not just supply and assembly.
For his part, Anand said DMG MORI is keen to transfer its expertise to the ministry to expand the range of its products, improve quality and boost their competitive advantage in the global market.
