Within the framework of the Armed Forces’ keenness to support civil society and coordinate with all state agencies and institutions, the People’s Defence Forces, in cooperation with el-Menya Governorate, organised a joint practical training exercise to manage crises and disasters with the participation of all the executive bodies in the governorate.
The training included inspecting the line-up of specialised equipment and vehicles, moving a distance of (10) km, as well as inspecting an urgent shelter camp and a field isolation hospital ensuring their technical validity and readiness.
A number of martyrs’ families from the governorate were also honoured.
In the framework of caring for the people of determination and maximizing their capabilities and abilities, the People’s Defence Forces organised a number of exhibitions to display the products and creations of individuals of determination that took place in the Border Guards club house and Fleet Vanguards Club of the Naval Forces in Alexandria Governorate, in co-operation with the National Council for people of determination, and with the participation of a group of Egyptian university students.
The People’s Defence Forces also organised a number of field visits for workers in a number of ministries, state institutions and Egypt’s pioneers from the universities and schools students, to a number of military units and development projects to follow up on the scale of the achievements made by the Egyptian state during the last period in the field of comprehensive development.
