Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah El Sisi has reviewed the ongoing efforts to protect the country’s acquisition of farmlands and given directives for terminating encroachments on state lands in parallel with expediting the legalisation procedures in a way that realises the interests of citizens and the public interest.
The president’s directives came during his meeting with Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli as well as a host of ministers and top government officials on Monday, Presidency Spokesman Ahmed Fahmy said.
The meeting was devoted to following up on action to recover state lands in various cities nationwide, including reconciliation cases, Spokesman Fahmy said.
During the meeting, the president also followed up on the results of ongoing efforts to preserve the rights of the state and the people and to protect agricultural lands.
The president also urged in this regard continuing to follow up efforts to legalise the conditions of citizens and end the practices of laying hands on state lands, stressing the need to prevent further encroachments in parallel with the speedy completion of procedurelegalisation s, in a way that achieves the interests of citizens and the public interest, Spokesman Fahmy said.
