Ireland has removed Egypt from the red list for travel, which requires a mandatory hotel quarantine list at an Irish hotel for 12 days.
The move was taken following intensive talks with the Irish authorities on the precautionary measures Egypt applies to curb the spread of Covid-19, the Foreign Ministry said on Monday.
It added that the decision will help revive tourism between the two countries.
