The “Egyptians abroad” application will include more than 20 digital services covering numerous spheres, affirmed Minister of State for Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates’ Affairs Soha Gendi.
The minister, meanwhile, referred also to the various colors inside the application, which are derived from the Egyptian environment and reflect the Egyptian identity.
The minister’s remarks came while reviewing the final touches of the application along with Deputy Minister of Communication and Information Technology Khaled el Attar, according to a statement issued by the ministry on Sunday.
The minister further affirmed keenness on providing all services to Egyptians abroad in order to act as a unified platform for Egyptian expatriates around the globe.
The application includes sectors related to investments, construction, cars, jobs, education along with reservations, the minister went on to explain.
For his part, Attar drew attention to the progress made so far in the application and the reasons behind choosing various colors and icons inside the application.
The initial designs of the application have been finalized, he further said.
