Egypt’s Finance Minister Mohamed Maait asserted Britain is a key strategic partner to Egypt and an important foreign investor in the Egyptian market.
In a recorded speech to a meeting of the British-Egyptian Business Association in London Thursday, Maait said his ministry is looking forward to making further investment partnerships to attain developmental goals.
He said he appreciated the pivotal and crucial role of the Association in promoting trade and investment relations between the two countries.
“We are looking forward to exchanging experiences and developing IT cooperation in vital fields to explore more investment opportunities in the domains of clean and renewable energy, local manufacture and health,” added Maait.
World challenges at present have vehemently affected sustainable development achievements in the global arena and efforts must be coordinated to ride them out, according to him.
