The Cabinet Media Center has denied ad groundless reports attributed to the Ministry of Social Solidarity and circulated on social media that the government will grant every citizen financial aid worth EGP 8,500.
The center said in a statement Monday it contacted the Ministry of Social Solidarity which denied the reports as baseless.
It appealed to social media users to verify such reports before publishing them to avoid confusion and called on citizens to report about rumors on telephones (01155508688 – 01155508851) and Website ([email protected]).
