Egypt’s Air forces announced the launch of the first edition of Egypt Air Show 2024 in May 2024 at El Alamein International Airport.
Speaking at a press conference on Friday, Commander of the Egyptian Air Force Mahmoud Fouad Abdel-Gawad expressed Egypt’s interest in receiving the most famous pioneers in the fields of defense, military and air industries, aerospace technology and aviation in the world.
The exhibition aims to open new horizons for cooperation between Egypt and the world countries in all areas related to manufacturing military, commercial and private aircraft and their equipment, in addition to space technology, Abdel-Gawad added.
Minister of Civil Aviation Mohamed Abbas Helmy said that the exhibition is a good opportunity to build bridges of cooperation and follow up on the latest developments in modern technologies in many domains.
The minister further hoped that the first edition of the exhibition will show the Egyptian Armed Forces’ capabilities, MENA reported.
CEO of Egyptian Space Agency Sherif Mohamed Sedky said he will present a clear strategy to benefit from space science and technology in support of various development fields.
Sedky further stressed the necessity of Egypt’s possession of space technology to attain the Egyptian State’s goals in achieving sustainable development.
CEO and Founder of Arabian World Events (AWE) Thomas Gaunt said the exhibition will witness a high turnout from regional and international institutions to participate in its first session.
More than 250 local, regional and international companies and institutions are expected to participate in the exhibition, he further noted.
The exhibition will include the display of the latest aircraft at El Alamein International Airport and air shows.
