Egypt’s Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities Assem el-Gazzar, on Monday chaired a meeting on support for the real estate sector.
The Chamber of Real Estate Development at the Federation of the Egyptian Industries (FEI), the ministry and the New Urban Communities Authority (NUCA) were represented at the meeting.
The Housing Ministry, through the NUCA, has responded to several demands from real estate developers, the minister said.
NUCA approved in its last meeting a package of incentives for real estate developers, the minister added.
El-Gazzar urged developers to promote industries related to the building industry, to provide their requirements from the local market, and upgrade the urban project management system to achieve sustainability and offer a quality of life for residents.
