ROTTERDAM/CAIRO – Chairman of the Suez Canal Economic Zone Walid Gamal Eddin asserted Egypt has greater potentials in SCZone to become a main destination and hub for producing and exporting green fuel to Europe and promote its investments.
Gamal Eddin’s remarks came during the first session of the Global Renewable Hydrogen Forum in Rotterdam city, the Netherlands.
The SCZone said in a statement that Gamal Eddin held several meetings and talks with representatives of many companies on the sidelines of the forum to discuss ways of pumping Dutch investments in industrial sectors in the Zone as per its strategic action plan 2020/2025 and mechanisms for promoting joint cooperation in order to achieve global transition goals toward green energy.
Gamal Eddin also had important talks with the CEO of Rotterdam port on developing bilateral cooperation in green fuel circulation and activating the green corridor in SCZone.
