Egyptian Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli has directed bodies concerned with the development of startup companies in Egypt to outline a unified vision to guarantee zero conflict of powers in handling this file.
The government is ready to make any decision in this regard, Madbouli told senior officials during a meeting on Tuesday.
The meeting was meant to follow up activities of startups and means to support them.
Madbouli said today’s meeting aims to solve problems and challenges facing emerging firms to give them a shot in the arm during this stage.
This, he added, is done in line with directives by President Abdel Fattah El Sisi to boost support for the startup sector, which is considered a key engine of economic growth.
