CAIRO – The 114th session of the Economic and Social Council of the Arab League kicked off Thursday at the level of ministers.
The meeting, chaired by UAE Minister of Economy Abdulla bin Touq Al Marri, was also attended by the AL Secretary General Ahmed Abul Gheit.
The meeting is set to follow up the enforcement of decisions taken by the 113th session of the council and discuss investment in Arab countries and Morocco’s experience in post field.
It is also set to review supporting the Palestinian economy and preparations for the annual meetings of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the World Bank Group (WBG), among others.
