CAIRO – Egyptian Youth and Sports Minister Ashraf Sobhy has followed up all coordination steps and preparations taken by Morocco for hosting the CAF Champions League final between Egypt’s Al-Ahly and Wydad Athletic of Morocco.
The minister contacted Egypt’s Ambassador to Morocco Yaser Othman to check on preparations for the stay of Al-Ahly’s mission in the kingdom, including accommodation arrangements and the venue of training.
Sobhy also phoned Al-Ahly president Mahmod el-Khateeb to check on the readiness of the team that will play the final in Morocco.
Praising the good brotherly relations between Egypt and Morocco, he expressed his confidence that the kingdom will show warm hospitality for Al-Ahly’s team and fans.
