Hamza lost to five-time European champion Yasemin Adar of Turkey in the final of the +76 kg freestyle event.
He paid tribute to all Egyptian champions for the great achievements they realized thanks to the support of political leadership and fruitful cooperation between the ministry and different sports federations.
Hamza reached the final after claiming a 3-2 win against Estonian wrestler Epp Mae in the semi-final.
Last year, Hamza became the first woman to give Egypt a World Championship medal in wrestling after winning the bronze at the Oslo edition.
Meanwhile, the board of the Egyptian Olympic Committee (EOC) under Hisham Hatab congratulated Samar.
The board asserted that the results achieved in the Egyptian sports in the current period come as a result of the great support given to sports from the Egyptian state and President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, adding that the Egyptian sport currently receives unprecedented support and care.
