Egypt is steadily advancing on the path of development, driven by the vision of its wise leadership and the strong will of its people, despite internal and regional challenges.
This was affirmed by President Abdel Fattah El Sisi during his recent speech at the annual Armed Forces Iftar (fast-breaking meal) ceremony, where he emphasised that Egypt has successfully overcome complex crises in recent years and continues its journey of construction and progress with confidence and determination.
Over the past two decades, Egypt has faced exceptional circumstances that have impacted various economic, social, and political aspects.
However, the state has managed to navigate these challenges with flexibility and efficiency, thanks to its strong institutions, particularly the military and police, which have been fundamental pillars of the country’s stability.
President Sisi highlighted that comparing Egypt’s current situation with that of neighbouring countries underscores the resilience of the Egyptian state and its ability to manage crises effectively.
Amid global and regional crises, the Egyptian economy faces significant challenges, including negative impacts on navigation in the Suez Canal, one of the country’s vital economic arteries.
President Sisi stated that Egypt is loses approximately between $800 and $900 million per month due to these circumstances.
Despite these pressures, the government remains committed to implementing its economic plans with precision, earning praise from the International Monetary Fund for the measures taken to enhance financial stability.
Although Egypt has experienced economic difficulties over the past two years, current indicators suggest the beginning of a recovery, offering hope for a better future.
President Sisi reaffirmed that improvement is on the horizon, thanks to relentless efforts and the unity between the state and the people.
He urged everyone to continue working hard, learn from past experiences, and avoid looking back except to draw lessons for the future.
Egypt’s development strategy is not limited to economic progress but extends to human development and societal values.
The president highlighted the critical role of families, education, media, and houses of worship in shaping individual awareness and strengthening social cohesion.
In this context, sociologists and psychologists have been encouraged to explore how these elements can be effectively incorporated into media and drama to help build strong and balanced future generations.
This approach reflects the Egyptian leadership’s belief that building a strong nation is not solely about large-scale projects but also about intellectual, cultural, and moral development. Without a cohesive society and deeply rooted values, achieving sustainable development remains a challenge.
In an era of significant global transformations, no country can achieve progress without a clear vision and a long-term strategy.
Egypt continues to move forward with well-planned policies to ensure a better future for its citizens.
With perseverance, dedication, and confidence in the ability of the Egyptian people to overcome challenges, the outlook remains promising, as Egypt forges ahead towards greater stability and prosperity.
