The Prime Speed Medical is in the process of opening the first phase of the general hospital that the company establishes on the Cairo-Ismailia Desert Road at an investment cost of LE200 million. With a total cost of LE408 million distributed among two phases, the total capacity of the hospital is about 140 beds.
This, the company’s management said in a statement, is part of the company expansion plans in the Egyptian market, as the Speed Medical Company targets expected revenues of about LE2.8 billion during the next year from the medical services it provides to the workers travelling abroad, including in the foremost those travelling to Libya and Saudi Arabia.
It also targets achieving revenues of about LE400 million from Corona virus swabs, and about LE900 million for blood tests, which the workers traveling from Egypt to Libya will abide by, according to contracts signed by the company, it added.
The company is expanding during the current period in providing corona swabs and medical analysis services to boost the state endeavors for countering the new coronavirus Omicron variant, it also noted.
The company had also concluded contracts granting it a privilege to provide coronavirus swab services for travelers to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia back and forth, particularly those wishing to perform the rituals of Umrah, especially after the Kingdom announced that those coming to it would be allowed to enter directly without a 14-day isolation period, provided that a statement of negative Covid swab was submitted.
The number of branches of the company’s laboratories amounted to about 134 branches scattered in nearly 23 governorates throughout the republic to cover the services provided by the company in all the fields in which it operates.
