Egyptian Minister of Youth and Sports Ashraf Sobhy on Monday met with delegations participating in the 3rd World Children Festival at the ministry’s new headquarters at the new administrative capital.
During the meeting, some of the work of young participants for the festival was presented.
This year’s festival, which ends on 21 October, is to raise awareness among children and young people about climate change issues.
The minister said he was happy to meet with youths of different nationalities.
“Foreign participants will convey the true image about Egypt’s development renaissance to their countries,” Sobhi said.
Last Saturday evening witnessed the opening ceremony of the festival in which 23 countries are participating.
