The World Youth Forum (WYF) on Sunday hosted a workshop on the rising global role of entrepreneurs and start-ups with the participation of key figures of youths and entrepreneurs from various world countries.
The workshop addressed the importance of start-up projects launched by youths and how the technological applications helped in increasing investments of such projects as their number has recently witnessed a notable rise in the Middle East and Africa region.
The workshop also addressed the impact of coronavirus on the opportunities given to youths who along with women have been much influenced by such pandemic.
Speaking to the gathering, Jose Mandelli, member of the International Labor Organization (ILO) explained that the role of the organization in helping the start-up projects such as “Intaleki”, “Siyb” and”Know Your Company”.
The workshop included interactive dialogues among a group of business leaders and how they managed to run their start-up amid the corona virus pandemic.
The Fourth Edition of World Youth Forum is due to kick off in the city Sharm El Sheikh on Monday. It is a platform built by promising youth.
